Avraham Eisenberg, the person who was just found guilty of exploiting the Mango Markets crypto project, has now been charged with possession of child sexual abuse material.

INFORMATION 24 Cr. 251 COUNT ONE (Possession of Child Pornography) The United States Attorney charges: 1. From at least in or about 2017 through at least in or about 2022, in the Southern District of New York and elsewhere, AVRAHAM EISENBERG, the defendant, knowingly possessed and accessed with intent to view a book, magazine, periodical, film, videotape, computer disk, and other material that contained an image of child pornography that had been mailed, shipped and transported using a means and facility of interstate and foreign commerce and in and affecting interstate and foreign commerce by any means, including by computer, and that was produced using materials that had been mailed, shipped and transported in and affecting interstate and foreign commerce by any means, including by computer, to wit, EISENBERG possessed sexually explicit images of minors on his electronic devices, including images of prepubescent minors and minors who had not attained 12 years of age, in Rockland County, New York and in Puerto Rico. this is not altogether surprising, given an august 2023 filing in his market manipulation case that disclosed that the FBI had found CSAM while searching a cell phone of his in relation to his crypto theft
